Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I would like you to know that I make every effort to increase the archival nature of my oil portraits and they should last for many generations. In fact, properly displayed, my oil paintings should last for centuries.
I personally give a lifetiime guarantee on all of my oil paintings, against fading or cracking, or other deterioration, when properly displayed in normal room lighting in a climate controlled environment. Portraits should never be exposed to flourescent lighting or sunlight, or strong daylight, nor environments of high humidity. I do not guarantee against physical damage, nor improperly displayed portraits.
Photographic portraits, printed through normal chemistry based processes, will fade over time, but can last a very long time if properly displayed in low lighting, or in albums.
